Marble Canyon Unit 504 Refresh (Phase 1)
Phase One complete for our new owners’ property:
This 3-bedroom mountain retreat has already had a major refresh designed to improve both guest experience and rental performance.
When I walk into a condo, especially from a vacation rental perspective, I’m always looking at two things: owner investment and how far we can stretch every dollar spent.
My approach isn’t to replace everything. I first look at what we can keep, reshuffle, and reuse, along with what truly needs added or upgraded. That depends on each owner’s budget, but one thing I pride myself on is helping owners get the most impact from their investment.
A great example in this project was furniture placement. Instead of starting from scratch, we moved the existing sectional from the basement up to the main floor, which immediately improved the upstairs living space while also allowing us to plan ahead for Phase Two.
In Phase One of the refresh we:
Updated all bedding to Brunelli for a more elevated, hotel-style feel. Added new artwork throughout
Wall-mounted the TV for a cleaner, more modern look
Replaced dining chairs for improved style and comfort
Increased sleeping capacity with two additional queen sleeping options, a cabinet bed at the top of the stairs and a new larger queen sleeper sectional ordered for the basement, which will eventually become a large theatre/media space
A big goal was to increase sleeping capacity without making the condo feel overcrowded, making sure larger groups still have space to relax and enjoy the property comfortably.
Outside, we completely refreshed the deck with new furniture, ambient lighting, and greenery to create a warm, inviting space guests can enjoy well into the evening.
The transformation already feels incredible, and we achieved it by being strategic with where money was spent for the biggest return.
Next phase this winter:
• Convert the basement into a large theatre/media room
• Update interior lighting throughout
• Transform the under-stair room into a craft, play, and recreation space
I love helping owners see the potential in their properties and creating spaces guests truly remember.
More to come on this one….
