Private & Rural Liquor Stores in BC Permitted to Sell to the Hospitality Sector
Big News from LCRB Today:

Full Details can be found in their bulletin here:
In short Liquor and Food Primary Licensees can now purchase stock from Private Licensed Retail Stores.
Rural Stores no longer have to apply to supply Hospitality Licensees, and no longer have to report their Licensee Sales to LDB.
All involved (Sellers and Purchases) must continue to keep records of sales, with Hospitality Outlets continuing to keep proof of their liquor purchases (Liquor Register).
This scheme will run as a’Pilot’ from today (29 May 2026) until 1 June 2029, and does not require any application to LCRB.
